Membership FAQs

All of our physicians are available outside of Advantage and a list of our affiliated clinics can be found on advantagemed.ca. To see these physicians at our Advantage Medical location you do need to have an active membership.

Member fees are only for services not typically covered by Alberta Health such as our massage therapy and counselling services. Services provided by our physicians are not being charged to the patient.

Yes, we do not have any contracts and members can cancel at any time without penalty.

No, we do not provide refunds. If members cancel prior to the end of their paid term there are no refunds for the time not used. Payments will stop once cancellation is confirmed.

Yes, our paid services are available to anyone. Members will receive discounts on all services provided at advantage.

Upgrades are allowed from the base to the plus memberships. Due to the health spending account in the plus memberships, we are unable to downgrade members from plus to base.
