At Advantage, we are committed to providing exceptional medical care in a comfortable and professional environment. To ensure the best experience for all our patients, we have outlined important policies regarding appointments, privacy, and clinic etiquette.

Please take a moment to review these guidelines, as they help us maintain a high standard of care and efficiency. If you have any questions, our team is happy to assist you.

  • Clinic visits are by appointment only. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to check in with the receptionist, allowing our staff time to prepare for your visit.

  • Please ensure you notify us of any information changes as soon as possible so we can update our files accordingly. Your information is gathered and used in accordance with the Health Information Act of Alberta. Please refer to our privacy policy to see how we manage your information.

  • Maintaining quick access to our physicians is our priority. To ensure the availability of our physicians we ask that if you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours ahead of time. Missed/no show appointments will be charged a $50 No Show Fee. Advantage holds the right to terminate memberships based on multiple missed appointments.

  • Late arrivals of 10 minutes or more for your appointment time may result your appointment being cancelled and you will be required to rebook your appointment.

  • Our office staff cannot provide you results over the phone, these results can only be provided to you by one of our Physicians or as directed by them.

  • Patients may request a chaperone for their visit at any time, for any reason.

  • Intoxicated patients will not be seen under any circumstances.

  • Advantage has a zero tolerance Policy towards abuse of our Front Staff, Physicians, Support Staff and other Patients.  Patients who are verbally or physically abusive will be discharged from our clinic immediately.
